An exhibition of budding artists where talent and creativity met:-
A group exhibition titled E=MC2, by final year students of the College of Arts was organized at Kala Srotra Art Gallery, recently. The exhibition had various canvas, fabric paintings, calligraphy, and sculptures from 21 students of the College of Arts. The chief guests of the exhibition were Dr. Ratan Kumar, Principal College of Arts, and Dr. Alok Kumar Kushwaha, an imminent artist.
The title of the exhibition, E-MC2 was based on the famous equation of Albert Einstein. Just like the equation, the exhibition aimed to provide energy and multiply students’ capabilities through guidance and exposure. The exhibition showcased the boundless creative energies of budding artists. The exhibition was curated by Shatrudhan K Gupta and Sanjay Kumar ‘Raj. Prominent artists of the city were also present at the exhibition, namely Anil Risal Singh, Jai Krishna Agarwal, and Shiv Balak Murti, among others.
The artists whose paintings were showcased at the exhibition were Ajay, Amit, Anant, Aparna, Avinash, Deependra, Gargi, Jitendra, Poulomi, and Phool, Pushpanjali, Priya, Rahul, Roopam, Shivani, Shubhankar, Vartika, Vinay, Mahesh, and Priya.
Arpita Dhyani displayed the beauty of the lands of Uttarakhand. “I have tried to showcase the land of myths, magic, and majestic beauty, Uttarakhand. Through my paintings, I want to showcase the emotions, hardships, and the culture of the people of the mountains,” said Arpita about her painting.
