Khadi gets centre stage at this event! Lucknow celebrated the best of luxury in both fashion and automobiles at the Fashion in Top Gear, a fashion show organized by The Times of India and Narbharat Times in association with UP Khadi and Village Industries Board.

The theme of the event was to promote the use of khadi wear clothes as daily and party wears.

Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary Additional Chief Secretary Information, MSME, Export Promotion, Khadi & Village Industry Govt of Uttar Pradesh, was the chief guest at the show. He said. This event is much more than a fashion show. It is a celebration of our handlooms and the efforts of local artisans who strive to keep the art of spinning khadi through generations. Now we have to make khadi a global phenomenon.
